The Ronnel C. Rivera Foundation, Inc. through its president city councilor Ronnel C. Rivera brings home another 22 repatriates from Bitung, Indonesia on May 20, 2011 aboard BRP Miguel Malvar. This was the response of Kgd. Rivera after Glan municipal mayor Tata Yap asked assistance to facilitate the transportation of the 22 repatriates from the municipality of Glan to General Santos City. Mayor Yap expressed his gratitude saying "finally, they will be home." The repatriates were released by Pedrito C. Lopez, Jr., acting alien control officer and endorsed to the Florentino E. Fiel, Jr. of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office Region XII.
